Singleton appointed to Future Business Council Board


Chairman of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia, David Singleton, has been announced as one of seven new Directors on the Board of the Future Business Council.

The Board moves from an advisory role to a governance role and under the leadership of the Chairwoman Alison Rowe, will guide the growth plans of the Future Business Council as it provides a viable new voice for the business community and sets the 50 year vision for the future of Australia’s economy.

David joins leading business executives and strategists drawn from across Australia: Emma Bull, Alan Kohler, Craig Lee, Louise Pocock, Parrys Raines,  James Wright.

“I’m delighted to be appointed to the board of Future Business Council at what is an exciting time for the new generation of businesses in this country and globally,” said David.

“The board is diverse in background and experience and I look forward to taking my place. I know that I will bring my extensive experience as a board director and chair. My background in sustainability, tempered by my experience as an engineer will I think be very valuable.”

The board will build on the successes of the organisation over the last 12 months including the launch of the agenda setting The Next Boom report , Future of Food and Agriculture event series, the COP21: Three Point Plan for Paris , and work to increase University Business Collaboration.
